Oral Presentation – Positions and Practice

This oral presentation is for the MA Photography module of Positions and Practice. In the presentation I discuss my photograhic work to date, exploring my early influences, my current practice and thoughts on future projects. As this presentation forms part of my coursework within an accredited educational programme, I refer to the work of other photographers and have referenced accordingly.

  1. Hi Juanita, it is very interesting to see and to hear about your journey, the way you looked at photography over the years – and – that you finally are doing what you always wanted to do. I really love to see pieces of your work again within this presentation, but now with your full story behind it. I am not the choosen one to judge but I would give you the maximum amount of points for this presentation because I looked it to the end and found it unfortunate there was not more. By the way, after knowing you from some chats, now I also could hear your voice, which makes it all even more pleasant to look at. I am impressed – very well done!

    1. Edwin, thank you so much for your very kind words and encouragement. I really appreciate the support! I’m glad you enjoyed the presentation and the story behind it. It was quite interesting for me to think about the influences on my work and to see how this translates into my current photographic practice. Thanks again for taking the time to watch this and for your lovely comment!
